- Take a trip to Bowness to Cockshott Point, 1.2 mile walk, wheelchair accessible and for all
- Wrap up, go outside and stargaze
- Go and eat a local Lake District meal
- Take a step out and enjoy Loweswater walk, 2.5 mile walk
- Get out on the water on a Windermere Lake Cruise
- Plant a seed in your garden and wait for it to grow
- Dubwath Silver Meadows and Ouse Bridge walk, 1.6 miles circuit
- Lift your spirits and wear a bright colour!
Follow our footsteps

- Stride out and head on our Buttermere route
- Book onto a Winter Skills Course and learn how to #SummitSafely
- Visit one of the Lake District’s stone circles and be inspired by our heritage
- Take half an hour out of your day just for you and your mind to sit and reflect on the landscape
- Have a go at ticking off some of the Wainwrights
- Complete sections of our 20 mile Ullswater Way route by boat, bike and foot
- Go for a cycle round Grizedale Forest
- Push the boat out and go rowing for up to three hours on Coniston water
Reach for the tops

- Go for a swim around Ullswater, make sure to wear a bright swim cap and flotation device
- Surprise a neighbour, colleague or friend by asking them how they’re doing
- Go visit a museum or gallery in the Lake District
- Start a random conversation with someone new
- Take on the Three Peaks Challenge
- Conquer the Honister Ferrata
- Take part in a park run within the Lake District
- Write up a positive note and leave it somewhere in public for someone
