Our members represent the public interest, and are appointed by various public bodies. Their business is conducted through meetings of the Authority and its Committees.

Volunteers

Volunteers are an integral and valued part of the Lake District National Park team. Hundreds of people give their time and enthusiasm to look after the much loved landscape, and to inspire others to enjoy and care for this special place.

Lake District National Park Partnership

There are currently 24 Partners in the Lake District National Park Partnership, including local and national organisations from the public, private, community and voluntary sectors. The Partnership works together in the best interest of the Lake District National Park and English Lake District World Heritage Site, its environment, communities, economy and visitors.
