Home Ridding Wood Trail, Grizedale Forest

Miles without Stiles route ‘for some’. 1.34km distance.

This trail takes you through beautiful oak woodland and past ornate trees on an accessible route starting in the visitor centre car park. You may even spot a Gruffalo sculpture hiding in the woods!

This walk from the main Grizedale Forest Visitor Centre Car Park takes you through lovely oak woodland, alongside a stream, on a wide tarmac path.
