Route
The mighty Grisedale Pike towers above Revelin Moss and gives a dramatic backdrop to some of the easiest walking in the forest. Improved in 2026, this trail is now suitable for some robust, off-road mobility scooters.
This walk from Revelin Moss Car Park takes you through a peaceful and quiet part of the forest, alongside a mountain stream, on a wide gravel path. It is a loop which is all uphill on the way out and downhill on the way back, with slopes up to 1:8 gradient.
See Revelin Moss trail at Whinlatter | Forestry England for further details, including any forestry operations affecting the route.
