My project involves restoring or creating new wildlife-rich habitat outside of a protected site.

If your project idea involves restoring or creating new habitat, you may be able to take advantage of the new ‘Wildlife Rich Habitat Fund’ from Defra. This funding is for capital expenditure only, and only for activities taking place outside of protected sites that will create or restore defined types of wildlife-rich habitat. It is possible to access this in combination with FiPL funding. We will work with you to help identify whether your project (or part of your project) would fit the eligibility requirements of this new fund
