Bay City Rollers – my mum even put tartan down the side of my trousers, which I wore with red stripy socks and baseball boots!

Haweswater – a good bimble with the dogs up to Small Water Tarn. You don’t see a soul once you leave the car park and the views back down the glacial valley are out of this world.

Autumn – some glorious late sunshine, a slight chill in the air and the enjoyment of the log burner to look forward to when you get home.

One that ate good food and didn’t need too much exercise!

For the last two years I’ve helped out at a local farm with their lambing. It’s incredibly hard work but I love it, seeing a ewe so protective of her little one from the moment they’re born is the best feeling ever.

I’m not really a sporty person but I’m definitely a crafting junkie – knitting, sewing, willow weaving, glass fusing, baking, tapestry – I’ve always got a project on the go!
