Business Part One

1. Apologies – To receive and record apologies from members of the Authority who cannot attend.
2. Minutes – To confirm the Minutes of the meeting held on 24 June 2026.
3. Chair’s Announcements – The Chair to announce to all attendees –
   • the fire safety instructions; and
   • the meeting is being livestreamed and a digital recording of the meeting is made.
4. Declarations of interest – Members should declare any registrable interests or disclosable pecuniary interests and state the nature of those interests so it can be recorded in the minutes. These interests are described in the Code of Conduct adopted by the Authority on 20 October 2021.
5. Questions – To answer any questions raised under Standing Order 16(2) relating to the business of the Committee.
6. Public participation – A statement has been received from Sarah Wilson, a resident of Old Belfield in Bowness, regarding temporary campsites and an Article 4 Direction. The statement will be read by Sarah Wilson as the representative of the fourteen signature households.A statement has also been received from Friends of the Lake District regarding the evidence gathered by Friends of the Lake District on the impacts of pop-up campsites across the entire Lake District National Park. The statement will be read by Leanne Parr, Planning Officer with Friends of the Lake District.

   To consider the minutes of the following committees and the recommendations which they contain:
   1. Governance Committee: Ms Drake will present the minutes of the meetings held on 15 April and 29 July 2026;
   2. Development Control Committee: Mr Kidd will present the minutes of the meetings held on 3 June, 1 July, and 5 August 2026;
   3. Rights of Way Committee: Ms Mosner will present the minutes of the meeting held on 17 November 2025; and
   4. Conservation Covenants Board: Ms Latty, Director of Sustainable Development, will present the minutes of the working group held on 10 June 2026.
9. Member Representation on Outside Bodies and Partnerships
   To receive verbal updates from Members on meetings attended as the Authority’s representative.
