Planning applications and decisions

Last year we received more than 900 planning applications, of which 93% were approved either under delegated powers (see Scheme of Delegation (PDF)) or by the Development Control Committee.

Recent applications that have been decided can be viewed on the Weekly List of Planning Applications by selecting the ‘applications determined’ link. For older applications, use the Planning Application Search Tool to find out details, whether permission was granted, and any conditions on a planning permission or reasons for refusal.

Development Control Committee

Our Development Control Committee meets each month to consider planning applications and enforcement issues and other matters relating to the Town and Country Planning Acts.
