Our Strategic Leadership Team (SLT) plays a vital role in shaping the future of the Lake District National Park. They provide strategic direction and oversee the delivery of our services, ensuring we meet our statutory purposes and organisational priorities. Our SLT report into the executive board.
They have a major influence on our company culture by setting the tone for how the Authority operates. Our employees look to our senior leaders as they role model behaviour and provide clear and timely communication all types of announcements and driving change.
They’re also responsible for making organisational decisions.
Set the vision and strategy for the Authority and the National Park.
Lead and support teams, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
Manage resources and performance, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery.
Represent the Authority across local, national, and international networks.
Ensure compliance with governance, legal, and environmental standards.
