Outdoor Mobility - mobility scooter hire

Outdoor Mobility has two locations where you can hire an all-terrain mobility scooter for half a day, with a route to explore. See Lake District Mobility website for routes at Whinlatter Forest and Langdale estate.

National Trust tramper and wheelchair hire

National Trust have Trampers and mobility scooters to hire at:

The idyllic Tarn Hows – complete a circular route of the tarn which is accessible for all and under 2 miles long. Pre-book Tramper hire on National Trust website.
Sizergh Castle, in conjunction with Outdoor Mobility. You can hire a Tramper or mobility scooter to explore the gardens and grounds.
Acorn Bank. You can hire Trampers in conjunction with Outdoor Mobility or borrow a manual wheelchair from National Trust. Find out more

Shopmobility - hire of mobility scooters

Transportable mobility scooters can be hired for use whilst on holiday in the National Park. Because of insurance issues unfortunately they can’t be hired on a hourly or daily basis. Please contact them directly for more details:
