Start: Ambleside

Distance: 13.46km / 8.36miles

Getting there: Ambleside is well connected by bus and cycle hire is available. If driving there are public car parks in and near the town centre.

Terrain: Mainly on gravel bridleways with some sections on minor roads. There are some steep hills and rough sections.

Waymarking: The route is waymarked throughout with Langdale Trail roundels.
