Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives you a mechanism through which to find out more about our policies and decision-making process. The Environmental Information Regulations 2004 came into force at the same time and provide similar provisions with regards to any environmental information we hold.
You may ask to see any information held by us and we must disclose it unless an exemption applies or other legislation prohibits its release. If a company holds information on our behalf, that information is regarded as held by us and you may request to see it.

There will be no charge for information downloaded from our website. It may be necessary to re-coup part or all the cost of some printed publications as well as postage costs. In such cases, photocopying charges are 10p per sheet and postage costs will be based on 2nd class post. Where requests for information involve a substantial amount of work, we will give you the opportunity to refine your request to minimise such charges. Where this is not possible we may withhold the information until we receive payment of any charges incurred.
Large-print, Braille and audio tape versions of information can be made available by arrangement and will incur no additional charges.
We will provide you with the information you have requested or explain why we cannot disclose the information within 20 working days of your request.

Data Protection
