Role:

Senior Landscape Officer, Natural England

As a horticulturalist, Susan has spent over 35 years in the horticulture and landscape management industry, studying horticulture and has a BA(hons) Landscape Architecture and a Grad Dip Landscape Architecture. Susan has professional experience around sustainable landscape management/landscape restoration, also teaching/sharing knowledge and preserving heritage skills. She has experience in the compilation of management plans, conservation management plans, cultural landscape management plans, forestry management plans, woodland management plans, policy development, development plans and grant funding applications. She has effective experience in partnership working, collaborative leadership and community engagement. Susan was a formerly a member of the English Lake District World Heritage Site Technical Advisory Group.
