Find out a little bit about Juliet:
A dark green Toyota Yaris
My Spotify wrapped for 2025 gave me a listening age of 85, which says a lot about the music I listen to. The first vinyl record I bought was Ella Fitzgerald ‘Blue Skies’. Unfortunately, the first album I bought was probably a Boyzone CD in the 90s.
Looking across Ullswater from Place Fell, I think, but there are so many to choose from.
Buttermere to Rannerdale Knotts when the bluebells are out.
I think I’d have to say Autumn for the colours, textures and mushrooms.
Probably a beaver – independent and I like building things. I also seem to spend a lot of my time managing water!
I run my own small holding producing wool, so all things rare breed sheep, animal husbandry, holistic grazing and sustainable farming practices. Nature and our landscapes more broadly; I’m the one on the walk trailing behind to look at and photograph wildflowers, mushrooms or insects, especially dung beetles.
My other big passion is music and jazz, in particular. I sing in a jazz and blues band and as part of an acoustic jazz duo.
Does herding sheep count? If not, to play it would have to be netball.
