Reports

A report on Farming and Forestry in the Lake District (PDF - 19MB large file) has been prepared by Rural Business Research at Newcastle University and the Centre for Rural Economy. This report is an objective assessment of the current business condition and future prospects for hill farming the Lake District. It is based on Newcastle University's annual Farm Business Survey, which covers 14 hill farms within the Lake District National Park. The report is being used to identify priority areas of action for the Partnership, in order to ensure that the economic, environmental, social and cultural benefits of Agriculture in the Lake District are maximised

Quarterly reports on this subgroup are included in the Partnership meetings page.
