Top job for Wes as new Helvellyn Assessor

Wes Hunter has been announced as the Lake District’s newest Fell Top Assessor. Wes was brought up in the area, attended school in Keswick and considers the Northern fells to be his old stomping ground. He’s super excited to be back in the area and taking up his new role with the National Park.

The ‘best’ job in the Lake District is up for grabs

The Lake District National Park is currently recruiting for a new Fell Top Assessor to join its expert team. Applications are being invited from mountain professionals who want to provide first-hand, boots on the ground weather updates and safety advice for fell-walkers during the winter months.
