A spokesperson for the Lake District National Park Authority said: “A planning decision notice granting permission for development at Elterwater Quarry subject to conditions was issued on 3 May 2024. We were made aware 18 June that a claim for judicial review had been made to the High Court. We have yet to receive any sealed documents. The Authority will not comment on ongoing legal proceedings.”
