The Lake District National Park has today announced a new multi-user trail over Dunmail Raise as part of the A591 reconnection project.

Diversion for walkers as repairs start at Buttermere bridge

The temporary foot bridge at Buttermere is to be removed and a diversion has been put in place so that the circular route round Buttermere can still be accessed. Repairs to the original Dubbs bridge will begin next summer.
