Local businesses take free ‘health check’ for climate impacts

Local businesses from around Cumbria are set to become more resilient to the impacts of extreme weather as a result of two free workshops funded by the Lake District National Park and Eden District Council this month (6 and 8 Dec).

Free climate resilience workshop launched for local businesses

In December 2015, severe flooding left its mark on the Lake District National Park. A year and a day after Storm Desmond, businesses are invited to attend a free workshop to improve their resilience to prepare them for climate-related impacts such as flooding and power-loss.
